Hi everyone! Today in physics, we started off with the daily warm-up, which consisted of telling what the moon is made of and what our solar system can be in a 1,000 years. Afterwards, we did a worksheet that answered the question, whether we can tell what the sun is made of.

Hi everyone! How is everything going? I hope you all had a good weekend. Today in class, we started off with the warm-up, which consisted of writing down what a planet is made of and what the moon looks like. After that, we continued on our SLC's for the student-led conferences on Wednesday and Thursday next week. Then she handed out an article, where we annotated and highlighted the first few pages. That is all we did today. Bye!
Sincerely, Sophia E. Collins Hi everyone! How is it going? In class today, we started off with the the warm-up, which consisted of basically summarizing what were the good and bad parts of our day yesterday with our buddies. After that we created a google doc for Newton's second law. In the google doc, you had to have three examples of Newton's second law and the actual definition. That is all we did today in class.
Sincerely, Sophia E. Collins Hey everyone! In class today, we went straight to our third grade science buddies class and created our constellations that were assigned to us out of marshmallows and spaghetti. Afterwards, in second period, we took our test on chapter 1 and chapter 3. That is all we did today in class. Bye!
Sincerely, Sophia E. Collins Hi everyone! In class today, we started off with the warm-up, which consisted of answering what is the difference between the planets in rotation and orbiting. Then we worked on our student led conferences for about 15 minutes. After that, we got with our science buddies and created our constellations out of spaghetti and marshmallows. Tomorrow, we are going to do the same activity with our third grade science buddies. That is all we did today in class!
Sincerely, Sophia E. Collins Hi everyone! I hope you had a great 4 day weekend! In Physics today, we started off with the warm-up, which consisted of drawing our constellation and writing one fact about it. After that, we worked on our student led conference slides, while we waited for Dawn to stamp our Chapter 1 on Astronomy packet. Then we went outside and did a walk and talk on the Chapter 3 packet. That is all we did today! Bye!
Sincerely, Sophia E. Collins Hi everyone! In class today, we started off with the warm-up, which consisted of writing questions for section 3.3, from our Chapter 3 packet. Afterwards, we continued looking at the constellation projects. Finally, we did a walk and talk on the questions that we asked on 3.3 That is all we did today. Bye!
Sincerely, Sophia E. Collins Hi everyone! Happy Valentines Day! Today in class, we started off with the warm-up, which consisted of drawing a picture of the earth on a tilted axis. Afterwards, we worked on a constellation project the rest of the period. With your science buddy (from the class), you research a constellation and find out it's myth, how many stars it has, and in what seasons it is present. Then you create your constellation in aluminum and then project with a flashlight. At the end of the period, we had to present our constellation to the class. Bye!
Sincerely, Sophia E. Collins Hi everyone! I hope you all had a good weekend! In physics today, we started with the warmup, which consisted of listing all the planets in order, and knowing that the 4 outer planets move quicker in rotations than the 4 inner planets. Afterwards, we read sections 3.1 and 3.2 and made 3 questions for 3.2. Then we did a walk and talk with these questions for about 15 minutes. Afterwards we worked on our slides for our Student Lead Conferences. That is all we did today! Bye!
Sincerely, Sophia E. Collins Hi everyone! I hoped we all had a good day today. In physics for first period, we started off with the warm-up, which consisted of answering how old the universe, milky way galaxy, and solar system is. Then we went to our third grade buddies for first period and worked on our planets. In second period, we made questions for sections 1.1 and 1.2. That is all we did for class today. Bye!
